They may seem very illogical and strange. But that’s the point. The player cannot even foresee what his simple date or going to work will lead to. Behind every move is the next clue.
It’s like a little tangle that needs to be untangled. A good application to kill a couple of minutes of free time and not really puzzle over what is happening. Only the most courageous have the primacy in learning all the endings.
