Three highly rated couples exist in the game: dragon Alphys and fish Undyne, goats Toriel and Asgore, and, surprisingly, Papyrus and Mettaton. While the first two are officially confirmed by the plot, the third one raises some questions, and not only among beginners.
Well, you can see from dialogues that the pasta skeleton is very fond of the robotic celebrity. He copies the vocalist’s moves and style and watches his every show. Though Mettaton doesn’t know Papyrus, they are obviously the only living underground creatures similar in their overconfidence.
